Hello all, hope the autumnal winds aren’t biting too hard wherever you happen to be.
We’re gearing up for a busy few weeks in November, culminating in a very special St. Andrew’s Night Sorries concert at Glenkinchie Distillery, Pencaitland, East Lothian. It’s a real treat to be playing this event, in conjunction with the distillery and Haddington Rotary Club, as we don’t always get a opportunity to play on St. Andrew’s Day.
The concert, on the evening of Thursday 30th November, will feature two sets by us with a whisky-punch (or non-alcoholic alternative) on arrival, plus a dram and a sausage roll during the break. Before that we have a couple of other events which should be a lot of fun. Following on from a private birthday performance in Fife in a couple of weeks, we will be playing the Closing Party for the European Curling Championships in Perth on Saturday 25th.
