As we approach the end of the first week of our run at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, we can reflect on a week of thoroughly enjoyable shows in front of very enthusiastic audiences. We’ve managed to dust the cobwebs off some old ones but it’s also been great to introduce a few new songs to the set.
To cap it all we received a 5 STAR review from Broadway World – you can read the full review HERE.
Tickets are available for our remaining shows at the Fringe:

It’s been a really busy first half of the year for us so thank you to everyone who has hosted us or come along to see one of the shows. We’ve had a great time playing a lot of venues for the first time and look forward to returning to those places in the future.
In the meantime we have one more gig before August’s season of Edinburgh Fringe shows, and that is a fundraiser for the RNIB who are raising funds for Talking Books.
The show is in the Victoria Hotel in Kirkcaldy on Thursday 27th June at 7pm. We’ll be playing two sets and are really looking forward to our first show in The Lang Toun. To buy tickets, priced £10, please click on the link below:

We’ve also been busy in the studio, working on our new 12 track album. Recording is pretty much done, so expect that to be finished over the early part of the summer and ready for release at the Fringe.

Hello all. We’re back from Aberdeenshire after the first leg of this Spring tour, and are very much enthused by the warm reception we received at the gigs in the North East – huge thanks to all of you who came out to see us!
Now we’re home it’s back to work on the new album – more on that soon – and preparation for the next series of shows. April / May sees us head to Newton Dees, Fife (the mighty Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline), to the Borders and then on south to London. And after that, our focus will move to summer and, of course, the Edinburgh Fringe…
Happy New Year all, and many thanks to those of you who made it along to The Magnum to see in 2019 with us. We hope you had a good night and weren’t left too drained for the first day of the new year…
We have a really busy few months coming up. Recording on the new album is about to get underway and we also have a raft of gigs scheduled, taking in Fife, Aberdeenshire, the Borders and London.

A reminder that we’re returning to play at The Magnum in Edinburgh this New Year’s Eve.
As in the last couple of years, this gig will be FREE ENTRY and we’ll play you right through from the old year into the new. Our first set will begin about 11.15pm on Hogmanay and we’ll finish off our last set at about 1.30am.
The Magnum is on the corner of Albany Street and Dublin Street, right in the heart of the New Town but outwith the controlled area, so although it’s but a short hop from Princess Street you can come and go without the need for wristbands.
The Edinburgh Festival Fringe may be finished for another year but there is plenty happening over the next while.
We’re returning to Stirling Folk Club on Monday 24th September, and really looking forward to going back to play at Bridgehaugh.
We then have a day in the West on Saturday 6th October, with a talk and performance in the afternoon at the ASLS Schools’ Conference at the University of Glasgow followed by a gig in the evening at Drumpellier Golf Club.
Looking further ahead we’ll be back at The Magnum in Edinburgh on 31st December for a special Hogmanay gig.
For full details of all upcoming shows remember to check out the CONCERTS page.
We’re now into the final week of the Fringe but there’s still some way to go for us, with another 6 shows to play before the curtain comes down on our 2018 Fringe run this Saturday.
