As we enter the last stretch of 2019 it’s fantastic to be able to reflect on a very busy but fulfilling year, one in which your support has been – as ever – hugely appreciated. In addition to the release of our 5th album – Bends of the Bow – we had great fun playing concerts everywhere from South London to North Aberdeenshire, and returned for our 12th year at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a sold-out series of shows. A date at Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline was a lovely way to see in the summer, but the highlight of our year was almost certainly playing our first ever gigs in Moscow. The warmth and enthusiasm of our Russian audiences took us completely by surprise, as did their affection for, and knowledge of, Scottish music. Definitely somewhere to which we hope to return…

This year is not quite over for us, however, as Hogmanay sees us perform at Sir Andy Murray’s CROMLIX HOTEL. We’ll be playing between 9.30pm and 1am, with a little break at the bells for piping and fireworks. For full details see cromlix.com/festive/new-year/
